    3. Hello Sharon, I'd be delighted if you come across Margaret Paton nee Kerr. She married in Paisley in 1846 and had a son in 1850. However she died before 1856 when her husband remarries. She was born around Jan 1820 to James Kerr and Margaret Galbreath also of Paisley. I'd be interested in any Kerrs in Paisley or Port Glasgow, but guess there would be loads, if this is the case then please ignore. Only one has a different name that is a female Hutcheson Kerr who may be unique. Many thanks and best wishes Moira ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Exham" <sharon_exham@hotmail.com> To: <SCT-RENFREW-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, June 15, 2003 6:43 PM Subject: [Renfrew] Re: SCT-RENFREW-D Digest V03 #158 > Have (from Society Library) Renfrewshire MIs pre-1855. 3. If there is any evidence of David McMillan and wife Agnes or Margaret Telfor(d) then I would be pleased to hear about them. Daughter Rachel McMillan is said to be born Kilmacolm Renfrew circa 1806. Anne > Have (from Society Library) Renfrewshire MIs pre-1855. Have it borrowed > until June 19. 1. Re: [Renfrew] Lookup request - Renfrewshire MIs pre 1855 - Margaret THOM, 1839-

    3. Hi Sharon If you have any time to spare before having to hand this book back to the library :-) could you have a look to see if there is any mention of a Margaret THOM, chr. 11 Nov 1839 in Greenock, parents William THOM and Mary SINCLAIR. Her father, William THOM, died in Greenock in 1845, and I assume is buried in Greenock cemetery. I have been unable to find any information about Margaret THOM after her birth, so currently assume that she died in childhood. If she did, again I would assume she would be buried in Greenock. Her mother re-married, to Robert Leslie SMITH in Dunoon (my g-g-grandfather), and moved there with the other two daughters of her first marriage, who subsequently both married in Dunoon, but of Margaret, her first child, no trace beyond the record of her christening. Keeping my fingers crossed that you might find something. Many thanks, Donna PS. If you don't have time, no problem. I know I'm late with this request, and others faster off the mark are further up the queue than me! :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Exham" <sharon_exham@hotmail.com> To: <SCT-RENFREW-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, June 15, 2003 6:43 PM Subject: [Renfrew] Re: SCT-RENFREW-D Digest V03 #158 > Have (from Society Library) Renfrewshire MIs pre-1855.
