Hello, I am trying to find out how some of my ancestors arrived in Australia. Mary Isabella TAYLOR married John RUSSELL at the Presbyterian Church in Sydney, Australia 1866. On her marriage certificate it said that Mary was born in Greenock,Scotland. I have found a christening 19/4/1846 St Michael St,United Presbyterian(east) Greenock,Renfrew. Her parents were given as John TAYLOR (occupation Engineer) and mother Mary FYFE and have found a marriage on 15/11/1835 Grenock East,Renfrew. I am hoping that someone may have some information on these families as I have no idea if Mary came by herself to Australia or with her family and if she had any siblings. Thankyou Anne Bain
