    3. Following list members help I have ascertained where a relation is buried. Catherine Ann McNAB (nee CAMERON) died 23 April 1950 and buried in the Bishopton Cemetery. I now wish to know was it common for death/funeral notices to be published in newspapers at that time and if so how would I go about finding a notice? I am trying to find out if they had any children. Many thanks, Shirley Barugh. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. 3. Hello again Shirley, As she died in 1950, the death will be in Scotland's People. There will be a person who registered the death, likely to be a son or daughter if there is one available. If there was a death notice it would maybe appear in the Glasgow Herald or the Paisley Express. There may also be a local weekly paper, but I can't think what that would be.
