Hi I've E Mailed the LDS for clarification on the question of previous OPR entries being missing from the present IGI. My Mormon volunteer partner at our local FHC once told me that some overzealous members in the early days,were Baptising,Sealing etc,many of the people who weren't related. I also heard ( haven't seen it myself) that they were Baptising etc. Jews killed in the Holocaust,until it was stopped. Many other records may have been removed that were put in at that time. Frank If you were reading this thread you know what I ran into with a possibly "overzealous member". Didn't they have to submit some sort of tree that they at least thought was right? Was no one ever suppose to see this tree again? Why would they be hidden? Or is there a way for someone who can prove he's related to someone on that tree to see it? Would you check into these questions too.
