    3. Liz, I do not have any connection to this family but am very interested in the Kilbarchan area. I have HASTIE and HOUSTON relatives who left Kilbarchan/Linwood in the late 1830's to 1840's and they seem to have evaded the 1841 Census.     3. I can't say definitively because I did not get it myself, it was passed on to me. I believe it came from the Paisley Library/Museum - they have a geat number of films and are very helpful so I am told.
