    1. SEALINGS ON LDS SITE

    3. Found what I was looking for, its the same as the LDS site. Alot of My Aitken are in the Sealings, so this if what I found, you probably will already have it:- I searched Charlotte Cropley, birth about 1784, Glasgow, hit enter. Up comes the entry, I went down to the bottom of the page see Heading Source Information, it gives a file number, I clicked on that, up comes the fice number, writing is in blue, Sealings for the dead, dates, etc. I clicked on blue writing for full explaination, one of the things mentioned, well for my Aitken, no circulation to family history centres, evidence of descendency, etc. This is what I printed out to take with me to ask "What does that Mean" I think I also emailed the help bit on the family search site. But I did try the following, up the top, after you've clicked on search and your in the page where you put parents details (if you have a group) or just one and the child's name, you will see a heading called SHARE, it has library and collaboration email, (you have to register for collaboration email). There's a step by step guide to register and how to put details on. Also there is a family history library catalogue, I just clicked on that, you can search by surname or area and I typed in Aitken and hit search, Titles came up, I wonder if you order them are they shared worldwide or can you only see them in Utah? I've also picked up bits and pieces on them through the National Archives of Scotland, public records on line, I clicked on that recently. I don't think this helps anyone, but that's what I've got. 3. Further to my email below, I just googled Sealings of the Dead, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and only got 19 hits, (there's a quick facts Mormom sheet), and I've just realised too, think I've not been answered asking what Sealings was.
