    3. Janet I also had a relative that was listed in the OPRs on the IGI in the mid 1990s and disappeared in the newer records after 2000. I found him on Scotlandspeople in 2004/5, but I heard that people are regularly pulled out of the IGI records for many reasons including requests by the submitter or his family. I Have no idea of the truth of that and wish some knowledgeable person would straighten it out for me. The IGI is still one of the best places to start.
