Hi Margaret, There is this book, although it says pre 1855, I have a couple of books for other areas and there are a lot of post 1855. Scottish Monumental Inscriptions Pre-1855 Renfrewshire Vol. 1 - J. Mitchell & S. Mitchell Burial grounds covered: Arthurlie (Barrhead), Bridge of Weir (Freeland), Cathcard Old Churchyard, Eaglesham Churchyard, Eastwood (Pollok) Old Churchyard, Erskine Old Churchyard, Gourock Chapel Street ground, Gourock Cemetery, Greenock Old (West) Church, Greenock New (Middle) Church, Greenock Congregational, Greenock Inverkip Street ground and Greenock Duncan Street ground, Greenock Cemetery, Houston, Inchinnan, Inverkip, Johnstone, Kilbarchan West, Kilbarchan East, Kilbarchan Burntsheilds, Killellan. Or the LDS have it on film, if you live near a FHC you could order it in. The Inverclyde council has cemetery records for Gourock but unfortunately they start from November 1876. Hope this is of some help Regards Lorraine -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of The Pools Sent: Thursday, 16 November 2006 6:16 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [SCT-RENFREW] Gourock Cemetery and WEBSTERS
