    3. Does anyone have a HENDRIE or HENDRY - FLEMING connection I have the death cert. for my Elizabeth MUIR ne HENDRY and it states her Parents were ???HENDRY and ??? FLEMING Elizabeth according to census and the death cert. was born in 1815 so far I have been unable to find a birth or a marriage for her Parents... Hoping someone may have Elizabeth in their tree she married Forrester MUIR in 1836 I dont think we can go by the naming pattern of the children to find the parents... my MUIR's didnt seem to follow this... but if they did its possible Elizabeth's parents were Mary and William but Family informaton has Elizabeth's Father as a John.but that is not confirmed anywhere.. and from the information on the Death cert... I would say that the FLEMING may be in doubt also.. Any help appreciated Jan.

    3. G'day Jan, I noted you said MUIR in your E-mail. I have MUIR in my Tree from Paisley Renfrew, but my direct line left for Nottingham late 1700's, around the time of the strikes, I have others that remained in Scotland. Robert Archibald MUIR II, born 16 Apr 1832, & left for Oz in 1857, Alexander Muir bapt 16 May 1822 Paisley remained in Scotland but as far as I know, only had 2 Kids, both female, Christina 1848, married William Campbell c.1873 & Catherine born c.1851. I only have one Elizabeth Muir, she was born 27 May 1775 in Paisley. Cheers Ron in Oz ("I use Archive CD Books to help with my research http://www.archivecdbooks.org"). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug & Jan" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, November 17, 2006 10:42 AM Subject: [SCT-RENFREW] HENDRIE/FLEMING > Does anyone have a HENDRIE or HENDRY - FLEMING connection > > I have the death cert. for my Elizabeth MUIR ne HENDRY and it states her > Parents were ???HENDRY and ??? 3. Hi Ron, I also have CAMPBELL's connected to the MUIR's ..... Janet CAMPBELL married Matthew MUIR in Mauchline in 1778 Janet from Loudoun thats all I know of her.. same as my Elizabeth HENDRY... she was from Renfrewshire but that is all I know of her..they are my 2 of 3 brick walls at the moment.. Quite possible you MUIR men are related as I have a few of my MUIR lads born in the 1700's that I dont have families for yet. If you ever come accross a Forrester MUIR or Forrester WATT then you could probably bet we are related.
