I am searching for McGillivray ancestors who resided in Greenock for a period around 1881-91. Donald McGillivray is the hh head; in 1889 his family is living at 38 Lynedock Street, Greenock; he has a wife and 2 kids, ages abt. 10 and 7. His brother Malcolm McGillivray also worked in Greenock on a coastal steamer. By 1891 the Donald McGillivrays are in Ontario Canada. I am especially interested in learning the names of Donald's wife and children. Might the above home address help me learn more about their household, and/or be of help in searching census data of 1881 or '91 listing names? If so, how might I obtain available information?
