I'm trying to clarify a place name in Inverkip, Renfrewshire. Can anyone on the list please help? The place as we read it (documents from 1880s) is Ormrod Mill. But I cannot find any other reference to Ormrod Mill anywhere. But I do see note of a Dunrod Mill in Inverkip. Are we misreading or can anyone confirm an 'Ormrod Mill, Inverkip' at that time.
