Hello Bill; Sorry, I don't think that I have a Nile Elder. But I will certainly keep an eye out for him as my grandad did have siblings, but I don't know the names. I'm pretty sure that his parents were Thomas Elder & Margaret Brown Elder, nee Luke. Does this sound familiar to you? I am sorry to say that I don't have an exact date of birth. According to a family story he was a Seaman, one story goes he alone went over board & was lost, the other story is that the entire ship went down & all on board lost. This was right around the start of WW2. Unfortunately I do not know the name of his ship. The information that I have at present is not very much, some of it I'm not to sure about, any help or advice will greatly appreciated.
