Dear Suzie, Knock seems to be between the towns of Paisley and Renfrew. If you go to oldmaps and open up a map of Renfrew (town) you'll see it. A Google search also gives you some information. I'm sure it must be a name of Gaelic origin as there's a Knock in Ireland too. Regards, Jeanette. ---- GRANT SUE SABIN <[email protected]> wrote: > My ancestors, Robt. There is very little that I have found about this place. They were farmers at the time, so was it a rural area? Which parish would they have been in? > > Thank you for your suggestions. > > Suzie > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
