HI, I noticed that Margaret Silvester and a John had the name "Carswell" in common. I have a Walter Carswell Taylor b. in 1811 who married a Catherine Mathie. I'm wondering if either of you have this name in your files. It's a long shot but I'd guess that there must have been a Carswell in the family farther back....or maybe they just had friends with that last name and chose it for Walter's middle name.
