    3. I presume you are referring to column 5. Usually, there is a blank line between the father and mother. The father should be listed by name on line 1, occupation on line 2, and, if deceased, that is in brackets on line 3. Then the blank line followed by the mother's name, M.S. (maiden surname) and if she is deceased. Naturally, if the names are long or many, more lines are used. Would like opinion or interpretation of death certificate of Ann MCLEOD 1868 in Greenock, in the column where the parents details are there is confusion in my mind as to whether the word deceased is refering to the father or the mother , this is how it is worded: John WALKER mason ( journeyman ) (deceased ) I have the actual image on my computer , would be happy to forward it on to anyone who would care to give an opinion on it please Kindest regards to all Brian Johnson ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to SCT-RENFREW-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message No virus found in this incoming message.
