Dear Ian, If you can locate Catherine's convict records, you may find her parents and siblings mentioned on the indent form (if it survived). You should be able to purchase her prison/trial records from the National Archives of Scotland. Try searching the NAS online catalogue for a reference number, and a possible brief description of her crime. Catherine was transported to Australia and married 24 November 1840 at Newcastle, New South Wales one John WEBSTER.
