Hello Sandra How much do you already know about the family? This is unclear from your message, so maybe you already have the information I have found. My apologies if so. You mention the girls' marriages, but have you found the family in the census yet? If not - and no guarantees, of course, as you would need to check yourself, but - it looks like they were at George Street in Paisley in 1891. You mention three children, but on this record there appears to be another son, George, as well. Albert HODGSON 45 bobbin turner Mary HODGSON 42 Clare Jane 16 Flora Ann 15 Frederick W 11 George E 13, presser in a printing office all born England. By 1901, Albert has died and the family are at Wood Pl King Street Paisley, Mary, 51, Fred 21 hairdresser and George E 24 Grocer's clerk. Albert in 1896, (parents Thomas Hodgson journeyman wood turner & Maryann Rushforth) and Mary (parents George Hyatt lab & Ann Jones) in 1911 and George seems to marry Annie Cameron Brown (the girl next door from George St, or nearly) in 1902, by which time he is a threadmill clerk. Records for all three events can be found on Scotland's People. Unfortunately, I've found no more sign of Frederick up to now. Maybe he returned to England.
