Thomas Cochrane came to America when he was 13 years old.he was married to sarah Celina Bancroft on july 4th,1853 in avon,new York.he later settled in Greenfield,iowa and passed away on the 2nd of feb.1902.there was supposed to be a brother who came to America later .don't know for sure.have nothing on Thomas parents,but that he was born in Greenock.scotland.does any of these people ring a bell.we come from the line of the bancrofts of conn.and mass.sincerely Shirley gunter (Cochrane)
