I would concur with Rhoda's comments; I have tracked some families from birth, census, marriage and death. So I know what's going on and can ignore mis-reporting. Parents of the deceased are reported by whom, a g'son/dau in law or g'son/dau. They can make mistakes. However something to check. Do the purported parents have a marriage, does the deceased match one of their kids. If so then you can be pretty sure the names are correct. If not, you have several options. Names reported wrongly.
