Hello to everyone one on the list, Previous to this i have submitted an enquiry to the list asking for any info , since then i have found out more info This is what i have found so far . Alexander MCLEOD , porter , born circa 1822 in Harres or Harris Inverneshire , parents were Kenneth MCLEOD and Catherine MCDONALD , he married Mary Ann WALKER 1852 in Greenock and a daughter was born to them in Greenock 1853 Mary Ann MCLEOD ( nee WALKER ) died in 1868 in Greenock , her death was registered as Ann MCLEOD Alexander MCLEOD remarried to Margaret LAIRD in 1868 in Greenock , her parents were James LAIRD and Barbara SCOTT. Margaret MCLEOD ( nee LAIRD ) died in Greenock 1878 Alexander MCLEOD remarried to Margaret MCLEAN in Greenock 1879 , her parents were Donald MCLEAN and Rachel GORDON Alexander MCLEOD died in Greenock 1884 . I guess my main area of research is what happened to Mary Ann MCLEOD , the daughter of Alexander and Mary Ann WALKER , i have her on the the 1861 Scotland census , think i have her on the 1871 census , but it may be her on the England 1881 census as living in Moss Side Lancashire . any info or connection would be gratefully received Brian Johnson
