Hi again In my last message I had listed a Charles SHARP b 1855 s/o Charles SHARP and Margaret BRANNAN. Well I just did a search on ScotlandsPeople and found a death for him. Charles SHARP died 1886 from drowning. It states he was last seen alive 13 October 1886 and his body was found 27 November 1886 in the River Clyde at Berth 83 Plantation Quay, Govan. Usual residence is 115 Eaglesham Street, Govan. My question is: Is there any on-line resources I can check to find out what happened? I tried doing various searches but to no avail. I'm guessing he worked there but it seems strange no one saw him for a long time. Also does anyone know a link that gives the names of newspapers for the area.
