Hello Ruth Irene, in her response to you, mentions that the youngest childrens' birth certificates should give you their parents' date and place of marriage. Failing that, the 1911 Scottish Census asked for the place of birth as well as country of birth for those born outside Scotland. This was an addition to previous censuses. It is due to be published on the Scotlands People website next Spring (2011).
