Good Afternoon I would like to know if Govan parish was in Renfrew parish in the 1840s. Would Paisley Library have the Poor rolls for that area at that time. Regards Michael

Hi Michael, Govan Poor Relief Records are in the Mitchell Library, Glasgow, but I'm not sure if they go back as far as the 1840s.
