ANDERSON / Greenock ??? 1700s BAIRD / Greenock > Eastwood > Glasgow - 1700-1860 BLACK / Greenock??? 1750s - 1850s COLQUHOUN / Greenock > Dunbarton - 1800 > GOVAN McIVER / John, b c1800, father Iver, mother Agnes Anna BLACK, married Cathcart Anderson BAIRD 1833. In 1825 he inherited from his Uncle John BLACK, Ardmarnock Estate in Argyllshire, also estates in Jamaica. I can't find anything on my BLACK family.
