Good afternoon all, Have just joined this list and am trying to trace my MACKIE family from Renfrew. 1841 and 1851 census has them living in Neilston. I have a few marriages found on IGI,tho' nothing definite bar one. Margaret married William MITCHELL 1868 Agnes married Edward MCVICAR 1865 Mary married Joseph THOMSON 1851 I have found a few children born to these couples. The most promising one is Elisabeth MACKIE married Daniel MATHIESON because their first child was Agnes LECKIE MATHIESON and Elisabeth's mother was Agnes LECKIE.
