If William died 1860/61 you should be able to find a death on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk Regards, Sandy (Glentrool, Scotland) ________________________________ From: P & N Farley <farleys@xtra.co.nz> To: sct-renfrew@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, 21 September, 2010 22:52:33 Subject: [SCT-RENFREW] STEVENSON William - HAMILTON Hannah: Greenock Can SKS please make suggestions as to where I can try and find the missing information on William's birth and death details and Hannah's birth details? William and Hannah married 13.6.1812 Middle/New Parish, Greenock. Hannah bn c1796 died Greenock 1861 (widow of William). They had 10 children some being William, James, John, Archibald, Robert (my g/g/father) bn 1825, Ann Barclay. All born 1813-1831. Some names are duplicated, possibly indicating earlier death of some. I have all my bmd information on Robert bn 1825 but can't seem to locate other than above, anything on his parents William/Hannah . William Snr in 1860 was a flax heckler. It appears William must have died about 1860-61? In 1861 they were living in Taylors Close, Greenock. Thanks for your time.
