Do you have a marriage between a GEORGE PATON and ELIZABETH LIDDLE 1785 If this is part of your family I'd like to know if George was a soldier and exchange information. I'm hoping you are that far back.     3. Michael, Sorry those names do not ring any bells. My LIDDELL line comes from Stirlingshire and I am only back to the birth of my gg grandfather James a tailor who was born 14th February 1808.     3. Thanks for the reply Collin. These people were in Northumber, England, But I believe George was a Sgt in the Royal Artillery and may have been stationed around there.
