Colleen - Scotlands People is well worth buying credits for. Recently I downloaded 6 certificates/census printouts for various family members. The total cost was $15 Australia. What I've found is that if you don't use up all your credits in the time given, they are not lost but held back until you next buy credits. The remaining credits from the first order is then added to your new ones. Very thrifty - (and dare I say, a very Scottish thing to do). It has been a very interesting time. I have learned so much even though I have been researching since 1990 (the old way of getting the original films out thru the Morman church and spending thousands of hours recording my people). I am unable to do this anymore however. Excuse my ignorance but what does (sic) mean? I find it quite incredible that James Allan McMillan marries first to Elizabeth Munro then after her death marries Margaret Campbell and calls one of their children Elizabeth Munro McMillan who apparently marries Robert Waddell. I wonder how many wives today would allow that! or am I wrong? I think I will wait till someone visits me who owns a credit card and give them the cash so I can have a wonderful time! on Scotlands people. It was very helpful to have explained abt 6 pounds being abt $12.74 NZ and this would buy 90 credits. If I have it right 12 credits would buy a death and marriage certificate. So how much for a copy of a census page? Thank you to all the people who have helped - it has been really appreciated. Colleen in sunny NZ with the odd rain cloud.
