Good morning, everyone. I am visiting Port Glasgow this coming Monday or Tuesday to see if there are any buildings at all dating from the late eighteenth/early nineteenth centuries when the Crighton family lived there. I know there are no family gravestones and where they had a shop (corner of Lyons Lane and King Street) is under tarmac! However, perhaps the Presbyterian church or a pub or two from that time might survive? Very grateful for any suggestions. Clare in Oxford, UK
