David Wilson (4th G Grandfather) was b. 1762 Paisley, Abbey Parish, Renfrew, Scotland d. 1858 Paisley. m. 1783 at Renfrew to Isobel MCINDOE who d. 1842 Renfrewshire. David and Isobel were said to be cousins. That Isobel's father and David's mother were brother and sister. David was said to be a ship merchant and a Weaver. 6 children Margaret b. Mar. 27 1785 Barrhead, Renfrew David b. Jan. 20 Renfrew, Scotland Anne b. April 4, 1790 Renfrew John (perhaps came to the US, and d. in Canada Margaret b. July 15, 1792 Barony, Lanark, Scotland Hugh David b. 28 Feb 1807 (my ancestor) (came to the US) d. August 25, 1891 Hendricks County, Indiana m. Amy Harrison May 11, 1828 at Shelby County Kentucky. ========= I would be most interested in any further Wilson or McIndoe information and want the parents of both David and Isobel.
