Maggie You may have looked at the Parish Death Records already, but in case you haven't, Vol 6 of the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright MIs states that in the OPRs with the Registrar General - 873 Kirkmabreck there are Deaths 1820-54. Creetown is in the Parish of Kirkmabreck.
