The children of Wiliam BELL and Annes KNOX his wife : Janet born 11 Jan 1841 baptised 4th March Margaaret born 18th April 1843 baptised 1st May James born 1st June 1848 baptised 30th June David born 8th March 1851 baptised 8th April The children of John HERTHES (??) and Jean STEELE his wife James born 8th March 1829 David born 29th May 1831 John born 25th August 1833 Peter born 19th March 1835 The children of William ADAMSON and Janet HENDERSON his wife : James born 15th March 1835 Isabella born 5th May 1837 Andrew born 17th March 1839 Robert & Alexander (twins) born 5th June 1841 William born December 1843 John born 24th March 1848 Parish of Wick, county of Caithness Register of Proclamation of Banns & Marriages dated 26 March 1850 James ANDERSON, Fisherman, Sarclet, and Margaret Mc RAE, Sarclet, daughter of the deceased Alex McRae, Sarclet, was matrimonially contracted on the first day of March and married on the twentieth day of March 1850 in the presence of Donald Anderson and Donald Young, parishioners of Wick. James ADAMSON, fisherma, Clyth, Latheron, and Elizabeth ANDERSON, Sarclet, daughter of Donald Anderson, Sarclet, were matrimonially contracted on the first day of March 1850. Geroge BAIKIE, boatbuilder, Wick, and Margaret BREMMER, daughter of Alexander Bremmer, Boathavey, were matrimonially contracted 8th March and married by the Rev James Hine on the 3rd April 1850 in the presence of James Baikie and John Budge, both of Wick. William MILLER, Farmer, Ulbster, and Catherine ADAMSON, daughter of the deceased James Adamson, Ulbster, were matrimonially contracted 22nd March and married on the 26th March 1850 in the presence of John Falconer and Josiah Bremmer, parishionners.
