The Kirkcudbright Advertiser of 10 Feb. 1882 mentions 'Mr. Stewart's photographic saloon, Kirkcudbright'. In the 1881 Census, he is residing in Kirks Close, Kirkcudbright and occupation is listed as 'photographer'. Thanks for any assistance!
