Dear All Just want to wish everyone a very happy new year and to say thank you all for the help I have received from the 4 lists I subscribe to - Lancs, Cumberland, Dumfries and Kirkcudbright. With your help I have, this Christmas, been able to present my very elderly uncle with his own 'Family Book' in which I have included multiple generations of details for multiple of his ancestral lines. Should keep him busy all year (and he was absolutely astonished and delighted) ! Also for everyone who is awaiting a response from me - I havent forgotten and I will get back to you ASAP. I decided I needed a full "PC break" over the holidays (arthritic neck is aggravated by using the mouse + neglcected husband + I use a PC All day at work) so have done absolutely nothing with my genealogy for the last 12 days except tidy my desk, prepare my uncle's book and collect back from my Aunt the family photos I left with her to identify which I will shortly add to my website - I have a couple that I really want to share as they are such super picures.
