Seeking information about 2nd Great grandfather, Robert Bell b abt 1789 probably in Troqueer, Kirkcudbright, Scot. and wife Jean/Jane Gillespie b 1802, same place. They were married in Troqueer in 1823 and immigrated to US probably in 1841 with Children: Agness b abt 1829/1830 Thomas b Apr 1833 William b 4 Aug 1835 Also immigrating at the same time with them was Robert's sister Agness , who was married husbands Hughie Jones and Andrew Cunningham . I'm trying to find out who were the parents of Robert and Jane. The LDS records have a Thomas Bell and Janet Pagon of Troqueer who would have been the right age to be parents of Robert but I need more proof. Can anyone there help me?
