Good morning I have received a proclamation of banns and marriages this morning, with place of residence for bride and groom. They are MARKS and BALMAE. Can anyone tell me whether these would be small villages, or is place of residence actually the name of the house. The year is 1827 and is in the Parish of Kirkcudbright. Thanks Victoria
