    3. Victoria, There are 2 places in Kirkcudbright called Mark(s). One is a farm just outside Twynholm, the other seems to be on the opposite side of the county. You can access these maps through the Kirkcudbright site on the web. I also had a ancestor from Mark, but it turned out that she was from the farm and not the village. It's been a long time since I was researching that particular line so my knowledge is not as exact as it should be. Hope that this helps.
