Hi Listers I have just received some information which will assist Australian members. If someone rings up saying they are a technician and are testing your line - be careful If they ask you to press 90# - DONT. This will give them access to your telephone and they can use it for long distance calls etc. A lot of this scam is coming from the prisons. This information has come from a reliable family member.
