Hello I am writing because I know that somewhere along the line, there is a connection between the Don and Nicol families. I just don't know what it is and am hoping that you might be able to help me find it. My relatives came from the Benchory-Devenick, Logie-Pert, St Cyrus and Msrykirk areas. My grgrandfather DAVID DON married JANE GORDON Dec 10, 1869 in Marykirk. His sister ANNA BELLA NICOL DON (born abt 1876 in Logie-Pert) was named after someone in the Nicol family, but I don't know who, or what the connection was. Can you fill in those blanks for me? I also know that a GEORGE NICOL married an ISABELLA DON in 1861 in St. Cyrus, but I do not know if she was one of my Don family. I will be very grateful for any help you can give me.
