Can anyone help. I am trying to piece together the SCOTT families in St Cyrus late 1700's to early 1840's. I am trying to find connections to James SCOTT. James was born c.1772 (unknown if from St Cyrus?). He married Helen BRAND in St Cyrus in 1807 and they raised there family there. James was a lime stone quarrier and died in 1819. I think the family lived at Milton. Helen was a midwife in the parish for 42yrs. Children were Jean 1809 - never married and died in Montrose 1883 George 1810 - m Isobel LOW Mary 1812 David 1814 John cooke 1815 James 1817 Can anyone tell me who the parents of James were? Does anyone know what became of the other siblings and children? Here is hoping someone can help. Regards Cris
