Hello, Firstly I would like to thank all those who answered my "Monboddo" query. I apologize for the e-mail bounce message. Hopefully it has been straightened away and my [email protected] should find me every time. Strangely enough for those who received the message rest assured that your e-mail did come through. Computers.. you got to love them. I am a decendant of James Burnett (Lord Monboddo) and not some strange bird trying to have fun with you. Another James Burnett (of Lagavin) purchased Monboddo, and 6 other Kincardineshire lands, Kair, Whitefield, Sillyflat, Hallgreen, Johshaven and Ballandro. My intent is to locate the areas mentioned and find out their locations and sizes. Further to my study on the infighting that went on between the Burnett's of Monboddo and the Burnett's of Kemnay over land acqisition. Sad to say that anger over this remains to this day as I told in rather harsh terms by a Kemnay "cousin".
