Please does SKS have the 1861 census of Laurencekirk & would be willing to look for a William MATHEWSON? At Scottishdocuments.com Index Index of Wills I have found a Mathewson William, 25/7/1865, Assistant Factor, "residing in Laurencekirk", Stonehaven Sheriff Court. Can anyone tell me how many large Estates employing 'Factors' would be in the Laurencekirk area? Also, if there is one, would SKS please check for him on the 1851 census index? Genuki tells me that pre-1855 Gravestones at Laurencekirk have been Indexed. Does SKS have this index & would check for any MAT[T]HEWSONs please?
