I have taken a note of these but there doesn't seem to be a connection - well not so far. My earliest proven Milne is James who married Jean Baird in 1814 but I have no details of siblings or parentage. I also have an interest in Stewart and Nicoll. James Milne married Margaret Grant Stewart or Stuart in Fourdoun in 1843 and their daughter Elizabeth - my great granny married David Nicoll of Brechin in St Cyrus in 1867. Any connections?
