I'm having difficulty connecting the Milnes - as the earliest ones I have are in St Cyrus - I'll concentrate on that area for now. The Stuarts - well it's possible there could be a connection between your David and Margaret's father Francis. I'd hoped that his first name would help me find him but no luck to date but as he was married in 1826 he could well connect to your David Stuart.
