    3. Hi Jim, I did purchase this book "Flitting the Flakes" a few years ago, I am not sure whether it is still in print, it was published by Aberdeen University Press and National Museums of Scotland in 1992.. and as mentioned the catalogue number is ISBN 1 85752 008 4 It is excellent reading to find out how people lived at that time As I mentioned in the email to Emma, the burial records for Kincardinshire have been printed in a booklet entitled "M.I for Kincardinshire" I am not sure which Scottish Genealogy Society printed the booklet, but it should still be available. 3. Hello Betty: Does the book /Flitting the Flakes/ make mention of an estate/place called Glaschoil, Kincardineshire? Our ancestor came from that place, Donald, son of Roderick MacKenzie of Glaschoil, Kincardineshire. I wonder if there is any mention of that spot or similar ones in the book?. Did it concern latter part of 1700s or early 1800s. Thank you for taking the time to read this note, if it is convenient I would appreciate your comments.
