I am researching my ancestor,Susan Kidd who married Charles Bayne. When Charles died in Dundee in 1823, at some later stage Susan moved to Laurencekirk where she became a merchant.She died in 1836, and is buried at Fordoun, her will shows that she had a number of people as debtors, owing various amounts. Would any lister know whether any records are available for Laurencekirk for 1823, and to whom I should contact, I would like to know what type of merchant she became, apparently not a very successful one...(Her husband had been a Dancing Master) Thanks for any help I may receive, Betty Adelaide, South Australia
