I am researching the family of Anne MILNE born 16 May 1833 sister of Jean and of William. She became the second wife of William Eddie on the 30 April, 1859. Her parents were Ann Findlay of Glen Cowie (Stonehaven) and her father was Moses Milne. I have a copy of a document that says they lived at a croft called Mount Pisgha, (which must have been somewhere in north-eastern Kincardineshire) and that Moses was the driver of the Bervie to Aberdeen Mail Coach, it also states that he was 'of Glenlivet' (I think I could use one right now!!). Anyone got any information on Moses Milne and on Ann Findlay? Anyone know where Mount Pisgha is located? Is there another Glenlivet besides the famous one north of Tomintoul? I would think that Moses and Ann were born about 1800. Ann died December 1880 aged 79. The son, William was a blacksmith in Bervie for 52 years, keeping his own smithy, and was for quite a time the 'Provost of Bervie' and married to Emily Mollison. Any information would be appreciated.
