Hi listers, I am new to this list and I am researching the TOWNS family. My 2xgreat grandfather was William Towns from Marykirk. I believe he was born in 1837 and married Mary BLACKIE(BLACKE) who was born in Laurencekirk. Other than that I know nothing about either of them, if anyone has any information on them or any other members of the family I would very much appreciate it. The last surviving member of our branch of the Towns family turns 98 in September this year and I would love to be able to give her some information about her family before their arrival in Australia.
