Dear List, I have been trying to find info about some of my husband's ancestors who lived in Marykirk in the early 1800s. They were the Rev. James Shand and Margaret Farquhar Shand. We know Margaret was born in Kintore and James in Aberdeen. James was a minister both in Aberdeen and in Marykirk where several of their children were born. Would like to know where we can find death or burial records or MIs of this family. Can someone suggest a resource? Are Shands still living in Marykirk? Thank you for any help.
