My great great great grandfather in 1847 listed on his headstone "farmer from Mill of Dess". His wife was Jane Watt and they had about 7 kids. This is the first message I have found with a reference to "mill of Dess". I know it is about 2 miles from Aboyne. That is it. Do you know anything else about this villiage? jennifer zimmerman
